Some things, heard in different ears, are interpreted differently. It may be some 肺腑之言, or even 親身經歷, but seriously, nobody goes through the same things. So, whatever you've been through might be totally different from the rest. Quit affecting those fragile ones with seemingly caring sharings which, in actual fact, are like salt to an open wound - believed to heal,  but might actually cause infections.

When lost, believe in inner voice than background noises.

Well, managed to have a bit more time today and met up for lunch @ Chinatown Point Indian vegetarian restaurant. I like such dates, or so I like to call it. Impromptu without much troublesome planning. Of course, such chances are one in a million during work.

Active Day @ Yishun Stadium today... OMG! I actually won the 100m ladies race! Crappy... it's a pleasant surprise afterall =) I don't mind. And for that effort, I got myself this sports watch + pedometer + portable mini tool... hmm.. nothing to wow about.. I call it cheap thrill.. something to be happy about for a second. ;)

But, the clapping was something I enjoyed.. haha..

And then, was pulled in for this 8x50 race ... and our team came in 1st again! Haha.. cool! I had the honour to run the last leg.. and the chance to come in with style again.

Aiya.. all in the name of fun.. I enjoyed myself.. hopefully the others too, especially that lady who I beat twice =P haha..  ok that's random.

Movie "Leroy" .. haha.. didn't know it's with that much sexual stuff.. but well, the movie's good overall.. very funny.. haha.. the meaning behind it too..

.. everything will pull through if the love is strong enough.. keine Sorge.

Today's another typical day at work which I pretty much enjoyed myself. Life doesn't always go the way I want, but it does drop me little blessings at every turn and corner when I thought that things can't get any worse. It may not be the best, but at least it's a mood lifter. Like what I've been telling myself, celebrate every little sucess even though it may not last too long or what.

After telling my small boss about my extended leave plans, I'm feeling more real about this up-coming trip. Yeah! =D *beams*

Today, we continued with Singapore Biennale 2008 part 2 at South Beach. I preferred the art pieces here to those at the old parliament. These were louder, bigger and more captivating.

I guess the rundown building fits well with these contemporary pieces. It's got this bold artsy feeling, oblivious to the eyes of the norm. Sometimes I wish I can be like this.

As we advanced to the container building (an art piece too) in search of the Tee-shirt exhibition, we realised that this is just another part of the Singapore Biennale, all tugged nicely and quietly away from the buzz-ling of the touristy area. It sits quietly and peacefully at the edge of the CBD, separated from the shopping district and Singapore Flyer by the stretch of Singapore River. This container installation is really cool. Raw and confident with style.

Out of curiosity, we changed into house slippers and stepped into this igloo-like art piece. He said it's like an Igloo. I said it's more like a hot igloo. The irony that it felt so hot and stuffy while the internal windows out to a vast piece of snowland and bald trees.

It felt distant. Almost like a hollow within a heart. Like there's something missing, someone's missing in the heart. The heart searches for some memories, some things or perhaps someone. I like this photo.. felt just like the art piece..

We moved on to the newly opened Marina Barrage. Someone trotting in the opposite direction mentioned that there's nothing much to see in the dark. I was glad that he was wrong. The city lights were beautiful in the dark. We had the chance to take our first nice photo with the whole Singapore Flyer.

Marina Barrage, a place where I think is really suitable for wedding, all thanks to that long stretch of green roof with two parallel lights forming an asle all the way up. I picture it to be really grand and yet simple with the long tail of the bridge's white grown being dragged, trailing behind her every little careful step. The two sides of the asle shall be decorated with pink and purple or perhaps white streamers or flowers. I could just be a wedding planner. He doesn't like that career path.

I took off my metallic silver sandals and waddled into the water playground like an instinct. He couldn't because he was in proper shoes and socks. The couple dances of the water and lights made it picture perfect.

We will be back to capture this new born touristy place in another daylight.

Whereas for today, we missed the last shuttle bus and had a long walk back to Marina Bay MRT station hand in hand. Sometimes, the right time and the right place is anytime, anywhere.

..it feels different to be at home during working hours. I felt like this photo today, waking up at near 12 noon after a night of gate installation. =)

This is my official 3rd Friday of week, not exactly something great to boast about, just glad that weekends are here again! =) Like KW said, life here is slower relative to the MNCs and financial sectors, but the people here nice. I would say that the atmosphere here is pretty good, friendly collegues and supervisors, at least mine. =) TH's pretty nice. He's from the 196Xs, but sometimes I feel that he's from the 197Xs. People's been telling me that I'm in a good department (FS) and with a good boss (TH), I hope that it's true. =)

Anyway, today's the first day that I've driven to work.. omg.. PIE got accident, and that jam lasted for 15min at least. Total journey was about 45mins, jam included. I had thought that I made a wrong turn twice, but well, Lady Luck's been good to me, I didn't once stir off the right track.

Company's Dodgeball Tournament later followed by JM's Compbio chalet at Downtown East. Ha.. Bishan to Downtown East shall be another challenge. =)

Tudos for now.
