Haa.. after dinner .. somehow.. I took out this old pair of new Levi's with princess cut... and slipped it on. Voila! I could wear it laH! =D
*beams*
It's been in the cupboard since years after I like super-sized myself in Germany in 2007. Thank god I'm back to pre-Germany. =)
Just want to say that now I can wear my tiny levi's again and I'm glad about it.
So it wasn't the short hair that made me visually slightly slimmer.. I so lost weight.
Perhaps due to work stress? *shrugs*
Missed my French class due to this an irritating headache and .. well, decided that taking a walk in town would help. =) Met up with JR to pass him his paper fruits of labour while we walked Illuma & Bugis street. The only reward.. $10 shorts & free mini Coffee Bean Original Ice Blended Mocha.
Ta-dah *see the picture evidence.
I just had to take this la. Not that I'm that much a shopaholic... I'm probably just the average shopaholic in Singapore. I admit to some sinnful retail therapy and that's about it.
=)
It's Singapore, lor.
S for Singapore, S for Shopping. They are really closely related. I mean besides tonnes of shopping malls being clonned all over this tiny island, what else that's distinctive enough do we have?
Maybe ERP gantries. Hahaa..
Okies. Anyway, today's that newspaper worthy event "60 minutes Earth Hour" which some shops/restaurants participated and switched off their lights for the entire 60mins. We had this totally romantic candle light dinner at Ma Maison and they just had to switch on the lights after 80mins of Earth Hour.. -_-
It got a bit too bright. *pun intended*
Yeah! =) Okies, that picture evidence of joy and happiness was like a week ago..
Currently coffee-ing & snowflaking with Retro music pumping into my ear drums, thanks to bro's ipod. Ha.. even the ipod is retro.
I've been thinking how some blogs turned totally work focused while the rest stirred clear of work. It's all about job nature.. and human nature. Some has to be hidden, some like it hidden,
Moi? Je ne sais pas. I don't really need to blog about work to make my boss know that I'm really working hard or meeting some difficulties or etc. Donc, I choose to leave it out.
Life's pretty good and busy for Ms Xinli. Other than the fact that some idiot passed some spam virus to my msn, which I have hopefully *cross fingers* removed. It's nothing too contagious I believe, just infectious. Haha...
Sinned.
1. Asus 1000 HE (white)
2. Onto Seamless Headband (pink)
I love them, nonetheless! =)
Travelled to Simei with bf today for July's housewarming =) Haa... when she greeted us at the door, I thought out loud,"啊,你瘦了!" Haa.. then she said, it's probably because she cut her hair short and added that now Short hair is in style.
BF, you heard that? =) SHORT HAIR IS IN STYLE!
Okay, that was when I realised that she cut her hair. Haha.. She looks younger with short hair too! =) Met Irene & husband & baby Clarissa there too. Irene couldn't recognise me in my short hair! =P
July, thanks for the invitation!
While surfing around to find out hotel star ratings and hopefully the market rate for wedding hong paos, I came across this. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090211/lf_afp/lifestyleswedenarcticmarriage I think this is pretty cool and COLD and romantic. Although the thought of so many couples getting married definitely is a turn off. Anyway, I shall copy a short short part of it. For more, please go to the website itself.
Ice Church in Swedish Lappland offers white winterland wedding
JUKKASJAERVI, Sweden (AFP) – Shivering more from excitement than cold, a bride clad in white silk and fur all but melts into the snowy background as she and her groom become one of around 150 couples to tie the knot at Sweden's Ice Church this year.
...The chapel, a small dome made entirely of hard-packed snow and crystal-clear blocks and sculpted pieces of ice, sits next to Sweden's famous Ice Hotel in Jukkasjaervi, some 145 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle.
Each year, between 140 and 150 couples from as far away as Japan and Singapore are drawn to the icy uniqueness of the Jukkasjaervi church for their wedding, according to local wedding coordinator Eva Lundquist.
