It's been a rough week at work and boy am I glad it's finally Friday.
I have officially shifted out of the Development branch room and located myself in this stuffy and hot corner which I can hardly breathe. Note to self: Bring fan.
I like the proximity of Ion to the SMRT station. I can even heard the train announcement at level 1 of Ion! We didn't try out those super long queue new boys in town ie. Hokkaido Ramen, Dunkin Donuts (yes, for many of you who's like my friend yc: it's finally here) etc. Food quality at Fish & co at the ion seemed to be much better than the other places, perhaps it's just new enthusiatic crew?
We ran into Gin, who was with his cute girlfriend, and also Wei Jie, who was with his thin girlfriend.
Dessert was at Gustimo and as you can see, we had a small cup with 3 different flavours of Formaggio (I love this! Apparently I could only remember the name of this flavour.), Chocolate & Macademia thingy. The place is nicely decorated with chandeliers (seems like a common decor in Ion) and white tables with pink stools! Sweet!
Ah, they provide ice water too. That's a bonus. Interestingly, Gustimo's main eating area is Alfresco, sans air-con. I wonder if I would want to pay more to eat under the hot and humid Singapore weather and breathe in the perpetually jammed Orchard Boulevard air? Je ne suis pas sûr!
The high class toilets, I like. Imagine hotel-like restrooms with plenty of mirrors of the typically vain à la mode ladies. You see, even the directional sign is LED powered. Did I mention that That is my favourite part? Looks cool.
Once again, I'm enjoying the mobility of Snowflake & the mobile wireless.. even in the .. at home. Haha.. *location not to be disclosed*. Anyway, I am going for the Great Eastern Women's Run 5km. I doubt that I am ready for 10km, but 5km should be fine. =) Girls, join me. Guys, cheer for me. Ha.. I meant boyfriend. ;)
Just did a bit of retail therapy at Tang's today and I think it was a good buy! =D Smell me... it's Burrrr Summer. Most importantly, it's sweet & pink!

I think I kind of miss the long hair me.. haa.. But well, the consolation of short hair is me looking thinner.. haa =D
